Keeping Our Community Safe
"He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow" (Deuteronomy 10:18)
The Bible reveals God's heart to care for the most vulnerable. The shape of our services are designed to protect the vulnerable from the threat of COVID-19.
Our church has taken every reasonable precaution to keep our members safe. As a government-registered COVID-Safe business we have developed a detailed COVID-Safe plan, including cleaning, registration systems, signage, directing movement of people, and more. We are committed to doing everything within our power to keep our community safe.
One church, many ways to worship
We recognise that, for a variety of reasons, you may not feel comfortable to resume meeting in person. We expect to continue to provide online video services and written orders of service.
To find our video-services why not visit our YouTube Channel here. If you, or someone you know, does not have access to the internet and they would benefit from receiving a hand-delivered order of service (including a sermon and prayers), please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure they receive an order of service each week.
Wearing Face Masks
Following detailed consultation with the Minister for Health, Archbishop Glenn Davies has written to parishes regarding face masks. On the basis that our churches observe 1.5 metre social distancing, hand sanitisation, and thorough cleaning procedures:
Individual members can choose whether to wear or refrain from wearing face-masks.
At present, the advice provided by NSW Health in relation to singing is evolving week by week. All our services will include music, but may or may not include congregational singing. You may also be required to wear a mask.
