FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES
And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them. Mark 10:16
Emmanuel Church is a church that welcomes children. Following the Lord's example, we want to bless children and help them grow as disciples of Jesus.

Why not bring your children along to the following safe, fun, and Jesus-y programmes?
WHO LOVE LIKE JESUS
All our Children's Leaders love Jesus. Under the leadership of our Kids' Ministry Co-ordinator, Suz Mann, our leaders love to teach the Bible in the context of fun and friendship. All our leaders are trained in Safe Ministry and have provided a verified Working With Children Check number (only applicable to leaders aged 18 years or older).
We are so blessed to have leaders who love and lead our children.
For many years Emmanuel Church has run a popular Winter Holiday Kids' Club called GECKO Kids' Club. Well, in 2020 GECKO Kids' Club started a weekly programme!
Kids can look forward to all the things they love about GECKO Holiday Club including music and games and food and caring leaders and friendship and fun and age-appropriate stories from the Bible.
For children in Kindy to Grade 4
From 3.30pm-5pm (with a supervised arvo tea from 3pm so kids can come straight from school!)
SPECIAL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Volunteers from our local churches teach Scripture in Glenhaven Public School. Scripture supports school parents who wish for their child to receive education in the Christian faith. The children love learning about Jesus in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
The Scripture curriculum is developed by Youthworks (Anglican Diocese of Sydney) and is approved by the NSW Department of Education and Training. You can find more information about our Scripture curriculum here.
All Teachers are trained in Safe Ministry, have provided a verified Working With Children Check and have received instruction in Christian education.
Emmanuel Church believes that a healthy church family benefits from younger and older members worshiping together.
Our 10.30am service feature specialised children's programmes and time for the children to join together with the adults. During COVID-19 this looks a little different, why not click on the video below to see how we are keeping our children and young people safe during COVID-19?
In the Winter School Holidays Emmanuel Church hosts a Kids' Club. Almost a hundred children enjoy craft, dancing, food, friendship, games, Bible teaching, and more.
